Introduction

Hey, new friends. I'd like to start off by saying hello and telling you a little bit about myself. My name is Megan and my favorite hobby of all time is reading and writing. I'm 23, from Louisville, KY, and am also a member on Goodreads, if you'd like to check out any recent books I've read and reviews I've written. My favorite genres of books consist of Biographies/Memoirs, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Historical Fiction, History, Romance, Thriller, and Suspense. (Pretty much any genre as long as it's a good read!) I'm new at blogging but wanted to start getting involved in online book clubs, book discussions, and book reviews. I figured this was a good place to start. The books that I will be reviewing/discussing WILL NOT be any children's books. This is a book blog for adults only, although very few books will be in the "YA" genre.

Some further in the future than others, here are some goals/ideas I would like to accomplish:

• I'd like to meet as many fun and interesting people as possible, hopefully with the same passion for books as I have.
• Eventually be able to accumulate enough participating people to begin our own book club/book discussion group.
• I'm here to answer any questions you may have about a particular book or book review. You can ask questions, comment, or even make requests if you'd like. I'll always answer you!
• I'd like to start recording and posting book recommendation/book review videos on YouTube in the very near future, asking that you also follow/subscribe. (I will let you know asap when my channel is uploaded.)
• I will be blogging not only book recs and book reviews, but also book lists such as: new releases in any and all genres, best sellers, Oprah's book club, best selling authors...just to name a few.
• I intend to stay committed to you and this blog, as well as my videos.
• Remember that this is OUR blog, not just mine. Post anytime. Together we can make this possible. And have fun while doing so!

Blog Schedule:

Book Reviews: every time I finish a book (I will also inform you when I begin a book and keep you updated on my progress, as I hope you will do the same for me!)

Book List: a new list will be posted every Wednesday

Book Recommendations: every Saturday (book recs can and will be from any and all genres- for example I may have 5 books on a rec list and all 5 books from a different genre; unless of course you request a book rec from a specific genre)

• DO NOT come here trying to meet up with anyone, this is NOT a dating site

As you know, I'm just getting started, so the rest of the schedule (if/when book discussions/groups will meet and blog, etc) will be posted as soon as I get everything up and running. I hope all of you understand that I desperately need your help. Without you all, I have no purpose here. I'm here to make reading fun and enjoyable for everyone, including myself! And I have tons of fun interacting with people who have a passion for books and reading like I do. I'm really excited and really looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing our amazing interests with one another. This could be the start of something beautiful. :-)
